Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Lab

at the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology

The Stadtmueller lab houses a Bruker “Sierra SPR-32-Pro” high-throughput biosensor.  The SPR-32 allows label-free analysis of molecular interactions and can be used to measure the affinity, kinetics or thermodynamics of binding between biological and/or synthetic molecules.

SEC-MALS at IGB

The Stadtmueller lab manages a system to conduct Size Exclusion Chromatography with in-line Multi-Angle Light Scattering (SEC-MALS), which facilitates protein molecular weight determination.
